Along the road from Banafee Village is 23 Hair Saloon. You won’t find much about this shop online, but they do excellent haircuts for both men and women. They also provide beauty services like facials, eyebrow trim and reflexology. Whether you need a quick snip, a hair makeover or fab eyebrows, you’ll be in good hands here. 5. Devour a bowl of porridge at Bubur Nasi Istimewa No. 1

Porridge is certainly not just breakfast food at this streetside stall in Taman Sentosa. In fact, it makes a supper in Johor Bahru! Picture a bowl of creamy white rice alongside little plates of sambal kang kong, spicy ikan bilis, fried peanuts, salted duck egg and other little condiments. What you get is a hearty and comforting supper that you’ll be craving for the following night. 

Parking space can be difficult to find before 10pm, so you’re better off saving this spot for slightly later. Note that this eatery is closed on Mondays.
